Kim is a highly experienced and successful senior executive with more than 40 years of experience in the international oil & gas industry. Prior to Inception Energy, Kim served as Chairman of Leyshon Energy Ltd, a Beijing-based AIM-listed company seeking to exploit oil & gas assets in China.
Prior to that Kim spent 15 years at BG Group plc where he was Group Head M&A responsible for BG’s global acquisitions and disposals programme. During his tenure, Kim led the M&A department to successful completion of some 90 transactions totaling over $22 billion.
Kim also spent 25 years at Atlantic Richfield Company in technical and senior management positions. He has extensive experience in M&A, business unit management, reservoir engineering, petroleum operations, investor relations, strategic planning, governance, investment appraisal, commercial agreements and negotiations.
Jacques has over 37 years experience in the international oil, gas & LNG industry and has been responsible for developing, operating and transforming major oil and gas fields as well as a major LNG liquefaction facility.
Jacques has recently been directly responsible for the development and successful commercialisation of major oil and gas resources in both Uganda and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Previously he was Managing Director of IHS International, a leading energy data and consulting company.
At BG Group, Jacques was President BG Trinidad and Tobago, Director Atlantic LNG, General Manager BG Tunisia, International Operations Manager (for non-operated interests in Russia, Thailand, Egypt, Tunisia and Iran) and Asset Development Manager Southern North Sea.
Jacques started his career at BP working in the UK and Norwegian North Sea, subsequently he worked for Hongkongbank.
Jacques is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Energy Institute and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Robert Lambert is currently Deputy Chairman of Jadestone Energy Inc. Mr. Lambert is also the Founder of Ipex Energy Ltd and a Partner in Oilfield Capital International LLP, both of which provide strategic, corporate and technical consulting services to a variety of upstream petroleum businesses.
Previously, Mr. Lambert was Chief Executive Officer of Petra Petroleum Inc from 2011 to 2015, Senior Independent Director of Eland Oil & Gas PLC from 2012 to 2015 and CEO of GB Petroleum Ltd from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that time, Mr. Lambert held a variety of executive management and senior operational roles with Conoco Inc over a 25-year international career.
Julian Hammond served recently as Chief Executive Officer for Tethys Petroleum Limited, a public oil and gas exploration and production company with 300+ employees and assets in Central Asia and listed on the main board of the London Stock Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange. He served in this position for 4 years and for the 6 years prior to this was Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer.
Mr Hammond was part of the original team of 5 Executives that raised private equity financing and then carried out an IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Hammond has worked for the last 20 years for independent oil and gas E&P companies with a particular focus on negotiating oil/gas sales contracts, licences and concessions, joint-ventures and joint-operating companies, as well as leading on financing initiatives, both equity and debt, raising over US250 million.
Louis has over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance both in the UK and overseas with a specialism in advising and raising capital for oil & gas and mining companies worldwide. Most recently he has been the Chief Financial Officer at Eland Oil & Gas plc, a publicly quoted company where he was one of two Executive Directors. Previously he was Managing Director of Northland Capital Partners in London and before this he was a Partner and Head of Corporate Finance at Matrix Corporate Capital.
Louis has widespread international experience having led on numerous public listings and has raised capital from, debt, equity and mezzanine providers. He has been a non-executive director of Eland
Oil & Gas plc and of Pan European Terminals plc and is currently a non-executive director of Jangada Mines plc and of The Stanley Gibbons Group plc. At all of these companies he was, or is, the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Louis is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He graduated in 1980 from Birmingham University with a BSc. & BComm (Hons) in Engineering Production and Economics.
